Museum Campus
I love Biology...seriously it has really snuck up on me and caught my attention. Will if you read this I totaly understand why you got a degree in it now. With that said I had an assignment for my biology class to go to the field museum and go through an exhibit called "The Evolving Planet" some pretty badass stuff was in there.
The field museum here is freaking awesome! Tons of historic bones and stories from Earth's creation. I learned a lot from that visit. Little fact for you:
Did you know that there were 5 mass exstinctions in Earth's times? .... Well if you said no I didn't eithier but now you do. Science rules.
All the museums here ... well most of them are on "Museum Campus" which is south of downtown Chicago. So we got some really nice views of the city that have yet to be seen by my eyes. Also there is a Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium and like 737739 museums left for me to visit! Needless to say I am very excited about all of this! The Museum campus runs off Grant Park and is on it own little pier/island so you seriously get to see the whole city skyline as the backdrop to you quest for knowledge!
