Tons of snow!

Soo we have been pounded with snow today! This post is mainly for all the people back home to see! They are calling for about 9 inches of snow and it has not stopped once today! I did some snow shoveling and walking around in it, all fun things! I guess the most noticable thing is that even with all this snow the city does not stop! Back home if there is even a chance of snow everything closes down and people seem to panic! Not here! Here people look at you funny if you stop to take a photo of it! So pretty much I got weird looks from every one of this photos .. but what do I care? HEYY! I live on W IOWA street! Hahha anyways enjoy the pictures!

So.. New years was amazing, I already miss my friends Pepperanne (aka. Stephanie), Wes, and Mel! We all rang in the New Year at a party here in Chicago! Fun times indeed! Since they have left I have been exploring the city and the surrounding areas a little bit! Haven't really even put a dent into it but have for sure scratched the surface! I really have started to love this city. I am looking forward to the warmer weather so I can really and truly explore more with out freezing my butt off (oh and in the first picture the river is frozen... yeah cold.) , but none the less there is so much to do here that the options seem endless. When the sun is out it makes it all worth it. Here are some photos from my travels around the city! I will post more soon once this crazy snow storm passes! That's right we are about to be slammed with sooooo much snow! I posted the radar above! See you on the other side... Hibernation time!!
