St. pats day in Chicago

Sooo, I know that St. Patrick's day is long gone but I never made a post about it cause I was swamped with school. So now I am getting around to it! I really just wanted to share with you this picture of the Chicago river green. I really like the composition of this photo and plus it's always a fun time to look at a green river.

Chicago celebrates st pattys day on Saturday just like everyone else but here it was rainy and nasty that day! Like real nasty out! Went out in search for some Irish Car Bombs and found none. Ate some fish and chips at a place called The Duke of Perth witch was pretty neat in Lincoin Park. Then headed to Wrigglyville and went to some "party bar". The people in this bar were putting water all over the bar and running down it and sliding across it on thier bellys. Kinda a crazy thing to see, entertaining none the less!

After that the search for an Irish Car Bomb contiuned and we finally found one at the most touristy bar in Chicago. Brian ended up spending like $40 on 3 of them or something crazy!! Regardless overall it was a fun night and day even with the shit weather! But my ultimate conclusion is that no matter where you go for the celebration of St Pats it's always going to end up about the same. Drunk and tired and in debt more than you were when you started. Worth it? Eh.

p.s. the last picture in this post was two dudes that me and Brian saw at the Duke of Perth. We were convinced that there was a time shift some how and that those two men were in fact me and Brian from the future. Big beards and enjoying good beer and all. So attached is a picture from the future. Enjoy.
